Many brands have replicated this and sold a clunky 30oz paper weight hunker mass produced in Asia. Aluminum spindles were deemed too weak for pro level riders, and the industry has always had a shortage of a decent crank for teenagers graduating from square-taper cranks. Q-Factor on a lot of 'Pro' level cranks is as wide as 175mm like the chainstay needs to clear an oversized wheelbarrow tire. It's literally been a game of copy and paste, with no real innovation outside of one or two brands over a twenty year span. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur crank is 516g with spindle and spider, that's quite a bit lighter than any crank on the market. It's over a pound lighter than some of the popular options.
